[Abstract] Objective To investigate the application value of transtelephonic electrocardiographic monitoring(TTM) in discharged patients with coronary heart disease(CHD). Methods 290 discharged patients with CHD were enrolled, including 140 controls followed-up regularily in clinic and 150 trials monitored by TTM. Results There were 20 patients without symptoms, 22 with ST-T altering,12 with arrhythmia,12 with malignant arrhythmia,70 re-hospitalized and 4 died for cardiac cause in control group.TTM group patients transmitted ECG regular. Patients with abnormal ECG were instructed by specialist in time. There were 94 patients without symptoms,16 with ST-T altering, 8 with arrhythmia, and 32 patients re-hospitalized.There occurred none malignant arrhythmia or death . There were significant difference between two groups. Conclusion TTM is useful for discharged patients of CHD.We can find abnormal ECG and solve problems timely, reduce incidence rate and mortality of malignant arrhythmia and decrease re-admission rate.
[Key words] Transtelephonic electrocardiographic monitoring; Coronary heart disease; outside hospital monitoring
Transtelephonic electrocardiographic monitoring(TTM) is useful in clinical practice. Because patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) should be re-examined regular, they need TTM detecting their condition and guiding next treatment. TTM were perfermed in the second hospital of Shanxi medical university since 2003.The purpose of this study was to determine the value of TTM used in the patients with CHD.
