Abstract Objective Cardiac check-up is not made at the time of the enrollment to the public by sports club. We investigated how much abnormal ECG could be detected by simple screening of portable trans-telephonic ECG (TTECG). Methods: 4591 members of sports club were investigated in this study. ECGs by CG 2100 were recorded for 32 seconds in V5 equivalent bipolar lead at the time of the enrollment of a member, and let a reception center transit them, and analyzed results were sent to each member after the results were classified in five categories. Results: Rate of each grade of TTECG were as follows; Grade 1: 3544 (77%), Grade 2: 164 (4%), Grade 3: 141 (3%), Grade 4: 0 (0%), and Grade 5: 742 (16%) in 4591 members. Numbers of abnormal findings in Grade 2 were as follows; RBBB: 49 (29%), Flat T: 49 (30%), SVPC: 19 (12%), VPC: 17 (10%), Sinus tachycardia: 15 (9%),
